Since my apartment complex resides at the top of a hill, those in the Seattle area know just how hard it would be getting into my apartment complex. That's right, I have been parking at the bottom of the street these past few days and walking up to my apartment complex. Not that I mind the walk, but it feels good knowing that my car is now in front of my apartment where I can actually see it. Anyways, for those that are reading this and are currently south of the northwest, we are supposed to be getting more snow tonight, though luckily we aren't supposed to get any wind. This means that I will probably get snowed in and miss work.
In other news today was the first day in a week in which I deemed it safe enough to leave the house without getting destroyed by someones shitty driving. Not that it did much help, as it seems that peoples minds just shut off when they see snow. Having snow on the road is no excuse to completely ignore all rules of the road such as staying in your lane or using your turn signals. Remember kids, though you may have a half ton 4X drive monster, its still icy and hazardous. Also, remember to take your chains off people.
Anyways, I hope it isn't windy tonight and the power doesn't go out.

I've got a new computer!
Since my last post my new computer has arrived. Why did I need to buy a new computer? Well it just so happens to turn out (slander coming up) that Dell laptops will die on you within two years of purchase. I have no clue how it happened but my laptop will not turn on no matter what happens. Now i'm not saying that all Dell computers are pieces of shit. Certainly there are many people who have never had a problem with theirs and replaces theirs simply because they are too old to support any programs that they might want to use. Anyways, I decided to go with a desktop because if anything does happen to it in the future I will be able to replace one part in it instead of the entire machine.
Now for a story on the completly different end of the spectrum. Part of the working with the public is the fact that many different people from all walks of life come into my work and need help with any number of things. Granted some of these people seem like they would need help operating a bathroom, but its best not to assume. Anyways, I was tagging the game department on friday when this lady came in and asked me if we had a particular game. Now she seemed like she had a perfectly typical west coast american accent when I talked to her. However, not a minute later she got on her phone and spoke in the most stereotypical british accent I had ever heard.
Another weird thing that happened is a result of a game I like to play. As a result I will often try to guess someone's age before I look at their ID's. The first time was when I guessed a woman was about 70 years old, then turned out to be 45. How someone comes to look 25 years older before they hit 50 is anyones guess.

Fine, jeez.
So I figure I would write something to get everyone off my back about this page being blank for the past few days. Well, calm down people because now you all have at least something to read while bored at work all day. Anyways, I figure that I could really write about anything on here. I guess people want to here about my day or something. Maybe even what I ate. Well, today I some fried chicken from Haggen thank you very much. Tad salty, yet it still felt like it was 200000000X healthier than what I usually eat when I don't have bring my lunch. If anyone is wondering, that is either fast food from across the street or something from the dollar store next door.
But I'd rather not this blog be about what I eat on any given day, though if I eat something especially wonderful I will tell you all (i.e. stalkers) about it and maybe give you the recipe if I can remember it.
Well, my back is starting to hurt from being hunched over the keyboard I am writing at, not to mention the hard arm of a couch isn't very good for posture. With that, I will post something later. I do encounter a lot of crazy people during the day.
